Financing

Do it now.Pay for it over time.

Most projects on this site can be financed through a lender rather than paid up front. We are not the lender and we do not decide who qualifies — what we do is put the monthly payment on the same page as the total, so you are comparing the real decision.

  • Price before payment
  • You apply with the lender directly
  • Funds release against completed work
  • No same-day pressure

The process

How it works here

Four steps, and none of them involve a credit application before you have seen a price.

  1. 01

Get the scope and the price first

We walk the property and write the proposal. You should know what the project costs before anyone talks about payments.

  2. 02

We show the payment beside the total

On the same page. A monthly number without the total next to it is a sales tactic, not information.

  3. 03

You apply directly with the lender

The application is between you and the lender. We do not hold your financial information and we are not paid more if you finance.

  4. 04

    Approved work gets scheduled

Funds are released against completed work, not up front. You are not paying interest on a project that has not started.

Sizing it

What these projects typically cost

Ranges for the Dallas–Fort Worth market, so you can size the decision before you call. Your actual number comes from a walk-through, not from this table.

Typical Dallas–Fort Worth project ranges by trade
TradeMost common projectTypical DFW range
RoofingStandard asphalt replacement$8,000–$14,000
RemodelingKitchen$25,000–$65,000
WindowsMid-size house (10–14)$5,000–$9,000
GuttersGutters with guards$1,500–$3,000

Ranges only, for the Dallas–Fort Worth market. Not a quote and not an offer of credit. Your project is priced from a walk-through of the actual property.

Why finance

What financing is actually good for

A roof that is leaking does not wait for a savings balance. Financing is a scheduling tool: it lets the work happen when the house needs it rather than when the cash arrives.

  • A decision in minutes, so the work is not waiting on the money
  • No prepayment penalty — clear it early and keep the interest
  • A fixed rate, so the payment you agree to is the payment for the whole term
  • Covers any of the work on this site, inside one project
  • One application, even when the project runs across several trades
  • A named person here who carries the paperwork with you, start to finish

Our limits

What we will not do

Financing is where home-improvement sales gets ugly. These are the three things we will not do.

  • Quote you a rate. Rates are the lender’s to set and they move; a rate printed on a contractor’s website is out of date the week it goes up.
  • Lead with the monthly payment. A payment quoted without the total, the term and the finance charge is how people end up over-borrowing.
  • Pressure a same-day decision. If an offer expires tonight, it was never an offer.

Questions

Financing questions

How does this start?
With a free walk-through and a written price. Once you know what the project costs, we point you at the options; the application itself takes minutes, and most decisions come back the same day.
What sort of credit do I need?
Our lending partners cover a wide range of credit profiles. Better credit gets better terms, which is true everywhere, but there are programs that work further down the range — and finding out where you sit costs nothing.
Can more than one job go on the same loan?
Yes. Roofing, windows and gutters scoped as one project can sit on one loan, which usually beats three separate ones and leaves you with a single payment to track.
Is there a penalty for paying it off early?
No. None of the lending partners we work with charge a prepayment penalty, so clearing the balance early simply saves you the interest you would have paid.
Do you make more money if I finance?
No. We are not the lender, we do not decide who qualifies, and the price on your proposal is the same whether you finance it or write a check.

Financing is offered by third-party lenders, subject to their approval and their terms. Nothing on this page is an offer of credit, a rate quote, or a promise that you will qualify.

Get the price first.

A walk-through and a written scope cost nothing, and you cannot make a sensible financing decision without them. Call and we will get out to the property.
